Stonebridge Landing is an established neighborhood of diverse homes. It is located between the eastern and western Havelock city limits. The unique design of the neighborhood features homes on cul-de-sacs off a single central street that meanders all through the neighborhood. There is a decked walkway through a wooded reserve area that leads to Slocum Creek, which is a good place to fish. This neighborhood is convenient to everything, making it a very desirable place to live. Stonebridge Trail comes out directly onto Hwy 70 at a lighted intersection. At the entrance of Stonebridge Landing, there are dental and orthodontic offices, a women’s center, and the local office for the Havelock and Cherry Point newspapers. This area is also across the street from the Post Office and the Navy Federal Credit Union, as well a couple of motels and the Tourist Center. There are also several restaurants located in this area. Stonebridge Landing is centrally located between both of the Marine gates. Stonebridge Landing is served by city water and sewer, as well as trash pickup and local fire and police. Progress Energy provides power for this area. The schools are W. Jesse Gurganus Elementary, Tucker Creek Middle, and Havelock High School (confirm before purchasing). The residents here are a mix of active-duty military and civilians, singles, couples and families, careers, and retired people. If you would like to spend the day at the beach you can be on the Crystal Coast in just 30 minutes or you can visit Morehead City in 25 minutes where you can enjoy boating or walking down the waterfront and seeing the sportfishing boats with their catch or enjoy shopping or dining. A short drive across the bridge and you can be in historic Beaufort where you can shop, dine and enjoy the waterfront and perhaps see the wild horses on the island across Front St., Beaufort.
